Frequently Asked Question’s

General

  • I’m predominantly based in beautiful Manly, just a short ferry ride from Sydney in Australia.

At various times throughout the year you will also find me working in Phuket, Thailand.

I work with coaching clients online from anywhere in the world, and deliver corporate speaking and workshops both in-person (primarily Sydney and major Australian cities) and virtually for national and international organisations.

  • Life coaching is a forward-focused, practical partnership. Where therapy often explores the roots of past experiences, coaching is primarily about where you are now, where you want to be, and building the real tools to get there.

My coaching integrates evidence-based mental fitness practices ( mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, positive psychology), with structured goal-setting and honest conversations about what's actually getting in the way of you feeling good.

It's ideal for people who are functioning well but know they could feel significantly better.

  • I work with a range of clients from professionals, executives & entrepreneurs to world class athletes, small business owners & humans who simply know things could be better. They're not always in crisis, they're just not thriving in the way they deserve to.

I also work with people navigating major life transitions: career changes, relationship endings, burnout recovery, perimenopause/menopause or simply a pervasive sense that something needs to change.

  • I offer coaching both online via Zoom and in-person for clients in the Sydney & Northern Beaches area. The vast majority of my individual clients work with me online, which offers genuine flexibility without compromising the quality of the relationship. All sessions are one-on-one, fully confidential, and tailored to where you specifically are.

  • MyndGym is an online group mental fitness studio offering live daily classes with a community of people working on their wellbeing together. Coaching with me is a private, personalised engagement focused entirely on your specific goals, challenges and context.

Many people find the combination powerful. MyndGym for daily practice and consistency, coaching for the deeper or more personal work. I can help you figure out which is the right starting point for you.

  • I speak across the full spectrum of mental fitness and wellbeing including, purposeful work, burnout, mental fitness at work and psychological safety & connection in teams.

Have a topic in mind you would like me to present to your team? Let’s connect and discuss a tailored talk or workshop.

  • Yes, absolutely! Every engagement begins with a conversation about your organisation's specific context, culture, audience and desired outcomes. I incorporates your language, your industry, your current challenges, and where relevant, your specific psychosocial risk factors. For multi-day programs, I also provide pre-work and follow-up resources to embed what was covered.

  • MyndGym is Australia's first online mental fitness studio. It offers daily online live group classes in meditation, breathwork, guided journaling, body doubling & group coaching (with new classes being added all the time). Think of it as the mental health equivalent of a physical gym.

Rather than self-directed apps that rely entirely on individual motivation (and that most people abandon within weeks), MyndGym provides live, facilitated sessions led by expert coaches, with the accountability and connection of training with other people in real time.

Membership is available monthly and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Explore it at myndgym.life & sign up for a free 7-day trial to make up your own mynd.

  • Mental fitness is the ongoing practice of building your brain's capacity to handle stress, regulate emotions, maintain perspective and experience genuine wellbeing, in the same way physical fitness builds your body's capacity. It's not about eliminating negative emotions or becoming impervious to difficulty. It's about developing the daily habits and tools that help you navigate life effectively and with more joy.

Research consistently shows that preventative mental health programs deliver a return on investment of $2.30–$4.70 for every dollar spent. The gap is that most organisations and individuals still treat mental health reactively, only paying attention when something goes wrong.

  • Self-directed wellness apps typically achieve minimal sustained engagement because they rely entirely on the user's motivation in the moment which, when you're stressed and depleted, is exactly the moment that motivation evaporates.

Live, facilitated classes solve this in three ways: accountability (someone is expecting you), connection (you're doing it with other real humans), and expert guidance (a coach who can read the room and adjust in real time).

The shared experience of a breathwork session or journaling practice with other people adds a dimension no app can replicate. Live beats recorded. Together beats alone.

  • I work with organisations in three main ways: keynote speaking & conference presentations, half-day and full-day workshop facilitation, and ongoing workplace mental health programs for teams and leaders. I also consults with HR and WHS teams on psychosocial hazard risk frameworks and develops practical tools for line managers.

For organisations wanting ongoing support, MyndGym's corporate membership gives entire teams access to daily live mental fitness classes — a meaningful step up from a once-a-year wellness day.

  • Awareness campaigns (the emails, posters and morning teas) are a starting point, but they don't build skills or change behaviour. The shift that moves the needle is from awareness to practice: giving employees regular, facilitated opportunities to actually build mental fitness, not just hear about why it matters.

This might look like monthly live sessions via MyndGym, a workshop series with tools for managing energy levels, or a structured program built around your specific need.

I can help you design what makes sense for your organisation, your culture and your budget.
